If you’re not using a decent pair of socks to go with your hiking boot or shoe, it doesn’t matter the quality of shoes you are using. However, the merino fiber, a soft and breathable yarn that regulates temperature well, is a good choice.
Our advice, from years of experience and many hikers’ recommendations, Never skimp on footwear, including the socks. Your feet appreciate your consideration and will reward you with many more years of hiking to come.
