If you want a boat, need a boat or you like to fantasize about boats, this one’s for you. You’ll see about $1.2 billion in products. There is an amazing array of vessels – from Cigarette, Comanche, Super Cat, inflatables, cruisers, runabouts, fishing boats, high performance, bow riders and, of course, super yachts (some up to 300 feet long). You’ll also find a full lineup of accessories and nautical fashions. It all adds up to one of the top boat shows in the country, especially with the Superyacht Show Palm Beach as part of the festivities. This annual celebration of the end of the Sugar Cane Harvest is a fun-for-all-ages gathering, for sure. There will be food trucks and other food vendors, arts & crafts, live music (featuring Lee Brice, Ian Munsick, Ashland Craft and Grand Funk Railroad), a cornhole tournament, a homerun derby, the Sweet Taste Baking competition, an antique tractor display, a car show and plenty of activities for kids.

The 96th anniversary (no wonder it is called “The Granddaddy of ’Em All”) of this Stetson hat-studded event includes saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, calf roping and bull riding. There are kids’ events, too: mutton bustin’, calf scramble, barrel racing and steer and bull riding. The event is under roof cover, but it is not a fully enclosed facility. Masks are not required, but they are recommended.

Known as one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious juried outdoor art festivals, this three-day creative showcase draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to elegant Winter Park, where artists from all over the world display their works. Stroll and admire sculptures, digital art, drawings and pastels, jewelry, paintings, woodwork and more while enjoying soft, contemporary music from the Central Park stage. The fest features free, hands-on art activities for children, and there’s plenty of snacks and treats for sale along with the surrounding cafes and restaurants.

In its 82nd year, Daytona’s famous Bike Week is a favorite among bikers from all over the world, drawing around a half a million people each year to the 10-day party on Florida’s Atlantic Coast. Unofficially known as the “Spring Break for Pilots,” this expo is an aviation enthusiast’s dream, featuring the high-flying and awe-inspiring flight demos by the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels, the U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightening II Team, the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightening II Team, and Doug Rozendaal flying Mr. Mulligan, the Howard DGA-6 pioneer racing plane. SUN ‘n FUN also features more than 500 exhibitors, hands-on workshops and educational forums from pilots and maintainers about safety, new products, and other timely topics. This year’s event also offers the new youth education area with inspiring hands-on and interactive experiences for kids ages 7 through 17.

Set on Main Street near the Polk Historical Museum, this 52-year-old fest draws more than 100 regional and national artists who come to showcase and sell their paintings, sculptures, jewelry, wood and metal art, pottery and other creative works. The weekend-long event kicks off with a “Bloomin’ Bike Ride,” an impressive Saturday classic car show and a colorful quilt show, as well as a kids’ activity tent, live music and food trucks and tents.

Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Lake, Osceola and Brevard combine forces for this quintessential Central Florida Fair, featuring youth livestock shows and auctions, carnival rides, games, mini-golf, indulgent fair food and live music. Check out some prized swine and rabbits, ride a helicopter or pony, cheer on some MicroMania wrestling and check out the various 4-H accomplishments on display, including confectionery arts, creative arts and horticulture competitions.

For more than 100 years, Suwannee County has come together to celebrate its community with the annual Fair and Youth Livestock Show and Sale. Like most fairs in the state, there are carnival rides and fried foods to eat. But at this fair, the livestock gets top billing on the event calendar and includes two nights for the Beef Heifer Show, plus Goat, Dairy Cattle and Sheep Shows. Those looking to get their motor running will enjoy the Figure 8 and Demolition Derbies.

Each year, the organizer’s of the largest plein air festivals in Florida continue to add new opportunities for both its guest artists and the patrons. This year’s 10-day event will feature 17 acclaimed artists from Florida and beyond. The schedule includes daily artist demonstrations and receptions, artist-led workshops, a nocturne paint and several Lunch and Learn events. Mexico Beach will be the location for the 2023 Quickdraw and artists will have only two hours to start and finish their plein air-style paintings. After the closing horn sounds all artworks will be collected and transported to the judging and sale area. Each day, guests and collectors will want to carve out time for daily visits to the Wetroom, where all the artwork completed from that day’s demos and workshops will be displayed for viewing and sale.

7 Creeks Fest | Event | Betz-Tiger Point Preserve, Jacksonville | March 25 |
This second annual event welcomes outdoor enthusiasts to explore the wooded waterways, winding trails and diverse eco-tour in Florida that make up north Jacksonville’s 7 Creeks Recreation Area. The area, which has boat launch sites with waterways that eventually wind into the Intercoastal, includes seven creeks and seven parks and preserves. Betz-Tiger Point Preserve serves as the official welcome hub for the event, and allows guests to choose their own adventure, whether it be by foot or float. Guests can bring their own recreational equipment – bikes, kayaks, canoes, fishing gear – or try out different gear for free. Supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guided tours during the day include a history hike, birding or wildflower walks, and an opportunity to hike the entire 7 Creeks Trail. Also includes live music, a junior angler fishing clinic, nature and eco-themed exhibitors plus food trucks.
